I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I admit, I ordered the Kuject cable link with the charger unit first. It worked fine on some of the VR games, but when it came to playing VR games like Half-Life: Alyx I kept getting kicked out of the game, like I would be playing then next thing I know I’m back at my virtual home. I would get a pop up stating that something went wrong with the cable I was using. So I ordered a official Quest 2 optic link cable, the first one didn’t work, so I immediately sent back. I was going to just get a refund but decided to just ask for a replacement. So glad I did, because this optic link cable is amazing. It’s way lighter than the other one I had and the VR games look even better than before. Also I haven’t been dropped from Half-Life: Alyx at all. My point in writing this review is that sometimes you might get a dud, it happens, but don’t be afraid to just get a replacement because it could have just been that and you might end up missing out on a good product.
